Annette Verpillot

Founder’s Story

I grew up in Montreal, surrounded by the buzz of city life, yet drawn to the intricacies of how our bodies move and function. I was captivated by how posture—something so simple yet profound—could shape a person’s physical health, mental clarity, and confidence.

In my early career as a posturologist, I was inspired but also frustrated by traditional approaches to pain and movement. Everywhere I looked, treatments were focused on managing symptoms rather than addressing the root causes. Despite the best intentions, most therapies overlooked one essential element—the brain. This realization set me on a path that would change everything.

Over the years, I immersed myself in the study of neuroscience, devouring research, and connecting with experts around the world who shared my fascination with the brain-body connection. I became convinced that posture and movement weren’t just matters of muscle and bone—they were deeply rooted in our nervous system. To truly help people, I needed to bring this insight to the forefront.

But it wasn’t just research that shaped Posturepro. It was also the stories of people who came to me with chronic pain, frustration, and a desire for something better. Seeing their transformation when we focused on retraining the nervous system was a profound reminder of what’s possible when you go beyond conventional methods.

Determined to share this approach, I founded Posturepro—a place where science meets empathy, where understanding the brain unlocks the body’s full potential. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to work with an incredible community of practitioners, therapists, and neuroscientists who continue to shape and elevate our methods.

The journey has taken me from clinic rooms in Montreal to conference stages and research labs across the globe, always driven by one purpose: helping people reclaim their movement, strength, and vitality by addressing posture at its neurological core.

Today, Posturepro stands as a testament to that journey. Together, with a community that believes in the power of the brain, we’re redefining what’s possible in health and performance.

Improve your posture and body alignment by activating the nervous system—starting from the ground up.

Frequently asked question

Posturepro insoles are designed to stimulate the nervous system, not just support the foot. Unlike traditional orthotics that focus on structural support, our insoles use sensory input to activate the mechanoreceptors in your feet, which helps your brain communicate with your body for improved posture, balance, and pain relief.

Posturepro products work by activating the body's natural alignment through the feet and eyes. Our insoles and other tools target key sensory systems, helping to correct imbalances from the ground up. By re-educating the nervous system, they help reduce muscle tension and relieve pain without invasive treatments or dependency on painkillers.

Absolutely! Good posture is essential for optimal movement and performance. Even without pain, using Posturepro products can help enhance balance, prevent future injuries, and improve overall body alignment, which contributes to better athletic performance, mental clarity, and reduced physical stress.

Posturepro insoles provide continuous sensory feedback to your brain, whether you’re sitting, standing, or moving. They use subtle pressure to stimulate your foot receptors at all times, helping to activate your body’s postural muscles and maintain alignment even when you’re not actively moving.
